The Doppler flowmeter probe measures flow velocity based on the Doppler effect principle, and can measure water level using a pressure sensor and water temperature using a temperature sensor. The instrument calculates the current cross-sectional area of the water flow based on the channel type selected on the interface, the input channel parameters, and the liquid level information measured by the Doppler flowmeter probe. This area, combined with the current flow velocity, yields the current instantaneous flow rate. Finally, the cumulative flow rate is calculated based on the sampling time interval.
